When Angels Visit

When Angels Visit

When angels visit, we may not see them in their light

But they are here among us, alive, vivid and bright

Watching, helping, caring, praying true

They are sent here from heaven to watch over me & you

As we allow their essence to penetrate our beings

A clearer sense of living comes and greater sight for seeing

If we will but open up our spiritual eyes

We may find, they have given us our own wings to rise

A Heart at Peace

A Heart at Peace

Give, to receive love...
Forgive & bless instead of condemn…
Our hearts need to be free of war…
For it is God only, to be the judge of men!

The Snow Flake

                       The Snow Flake

The snowflake, so beautiful and refined

Its divine sparkle, created by “The Master” of mine

Christ is the Master of whom I speak

He is “The Master” of you and me

He creates the snowflakes in His own way

Just as He creates each of us from day to day

He cuts, snips and fashions His different grand designs

Sometimes we’ll miss it, if we don’t stop to look or take our time

But when we look, we’ll see the beauty that He creates

We will marvel & wonder at the snowflakes He makes

Remember, we are like His snowflakes too

He cuts and snips at us & it often hurts it’s true

Yet it’s so royal and splendid what He’s making out of us

If we will just give Him the scissors & in His brilliance trust

We are meant to be shaped, snipped, folded & continually refined

Because once opened up, His glorious creations are all we will find

The Canvas of Our Lives

blank canvas

Everything we do and everything we say

Are strokes on our individual canvases each and everyday

Whether done in vibrant oils, chalk, water or pastels

The whole is portrayed or painted, oh so very well

The image is permanent, that we choose to render and create

It is a true reflection of who we are that every one of us radiates

Many colors are spread about each canvas, whether bright or dim

Daily fresh paint is added, and then shown to our friends and kin

They see our true colors, and our daily works of art

Just as God has witnessed all, right from the very start

So let us use the finest mediums to paint all that we’re meant to be

Working alongside “The Master”, will then create a beautiful masterpiece

Sacrifices Remembered

Pioneer sacrifices shine brightly forth today

As pioneers persevered so much to lead the way

Standing for Gods truth ever firm and tall

Sustaining eternal ways, everyone and all

Amidst toil, death, suffering & despair

Arose Gods mighty and faithful people there

Men, women and children in this unwavering band

Willing to walk by faith, as Gods priesthood commands

Withered, tired, hungry and torn

Amongst the wolves they often mourned

Yet because of them Zion shines forth today

Such bountiful rays in these latter days

Across the world the Lords Temples now dotted

Sacrifices remembered to be evermore exalted

Abundance Surrounds

Observing & noticing the comforts in such simple abundance,

ever calming to the body, soul and mind.

So much comfort like warm socks, warm food or a warm fire sublime.

The comforts of love, breathing, just being, are all part of life divine.

Oh that I may comprehend & enjoy these splendid blessings of mine.

As I look, I witness, His abundance surrounds at all times.

God's Mirror

God's Mirror

God’s eternal mirror, hold it in your hand

Look at who you are, and all that He has planned

You are so grand, a child of infinite worth
You are His eternal child, residing on this earth

Remember, Remember, who you are…
Looking through His mirror, your reflection reaches far
