God's Mirror

God's Mirror

God’s eternal mirror, hold it in your hand

Look at who you are, and all that He has planned

You are so grand, a child of infinite worth
You are His eternal child, residing on this earth

Remember, Remember, who you are…
Looking through His mirror, your reflection reaches far

God's Gifts For All

Share your gifts and talents
Help others clearly see
Show them My True Gospel
Lead them unto Me

Use your gifts and talents
Help others learn and grow
Apply them righteously
So they will come to know

I Am, Jesus Christ
All Gifts are Mine to give
I Am, The Son of God
Through Me, all men will live

I’ll give good gifts to those who ask
So in my light they may live
Delight upon this awesome task
Share your gifts and give

My Gifts are plenty, for one and all
They are here to serve and bless
Give them freely when I call
Let sharing be your quest

I don’t expect perfection
I just expect your best
I desire all men to know Me
With this, you’ll pass the test

A White Dress Daughter

I quietly sat gazing, at the wedding dress hanging from her door
I thought to myself, should I add some peach lace or keep it white and pure
What do I say to her, what do I do, I’m not too very sure
She made a few mistakes and some decisions that were poor
Do I add peach lace or maybe a hint of baby blue
Then the question hit me, what would Jesus do?

Not knowing the right way, not having any clue
I knelt beside my bed, humbly seeking for Gods truth
In quiet contemplation, offering my heart that day
Searching for an answer, I knew I had to pray
Then the answer came to me, as clear as clear could be
I heard a gentle voice that said, “Come Unto Me”
I then knew the answer, the unconditional key
That Jesus Christ rescues, Yes… Even Me…

The wedding was so beautiful and she wore her pure white dress
No peach lace needed, for it would have made it so much less
A white dress daughter is what she truly is, and one of His very best
Jesus Christ purifies, and to this, I do profess
Through His atonement and the sacrifice of His life
Christ is the answer, to clean us all pure and white
We are each white dress daughters, every on of us, glorious in His sight

The Lords Warm Winter Cottage

The Lord welcomes me daily to His warm winter cottage of joy
Out of the cold and away from this world’s tempests, confusion and noise
When out-of-doors furious storms may be rampant and raging all around
As I am found by faiths fire, He keeps me sheltered, secure and sound
He bids me to warm myself by His assuring peaceful flames of faith
Trusting in His bounteous love will ever keep me protected & safe
Although the world outside may be sorted in winters cold disarray
I will remain gratefully seated by faiths glowing fire each day

Christ Heals

To the wounded and the weary
Though tired or depressed
I am ever with you
Here to heal
To give you rest

Trust in Me, I will restore you
Mend your wounds and weary soul
I’ll give you strength and courage
Through Me
Be complete, be whole

I’ll mend the broken hearted
Send healing to your wounds
Ever ease your soul of pain
When weak, I’ll raise & lift you
Give comfort, I’ll remain

Center your heart upon Me
Have faith, you’re not alone
Give Me your trust & love
I am here to ever heal you
To forever lead you home

One Little Lamb

See D&C 18: 10, 15, & D&C 6: 33, 36

Magnify your stewardship
Trust in the Saviors love
He has given you this watch
He has called you from above

Doubt not, fear not
Broaden your watchful eye
Care for His flock lovingly
Remember “He” is nigh

Forever blessed are ye
Girded with His love and strength
Your attentive care is needed
As you expand your gaze at length

Seek ye out His little lambs
Remember “He” is the reason
Today is your time to serve
For this is your chosen season
