I quietly sat gazing, at the wedding dress hanging from her door
I thought to myself, should I add some peach lace or keep it white and pure
What do I say to her, what do I do, I’m not too very sure
She made a few mistakes and some decisions that were poor
Do I add peach lace or maybe a hint of baby blue
Then the question hit me, what would Jesus do?
Not knowing the right way, not having any clue
I knelt beside my bed, humbly seeking for Gods truth
In quiet contemplation, offering my heart that day
Searching for an answer, I knew I had to pray
Then the answer came to me, as clear as clear could be
I heard a gentle voice that said, “Come Unto Me”
I then knew the answer, the unconditional key
That Jesus Christ rescues, Yes… Even Me…
The wedding was so beautiful and she wore her pure white dress
No peach lace needed, for it would have made it so much less
A white dress daughter is what she truly is, and one of His very best
Jesus Christ purifies, and to this, I do profess
Through His atonement and the sacrifice of His life
Christ is the answer, to clean us all pure and white
We are each white dress daughters, every on of us, glorious in His sight
